Adopt a Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (short coat)

Domestic Medium Hair / Mixed (short coat) Cat

Aurora the Cat needs a home

I’ve been waiting for my forever home since February 2015.

Pale, saucer-like eyes, whiskers long and white, and a heart-shaped face designed to melt hearts completes her breathtaking beauty. Aurora's full of personality and isn't afraid to let you know how she feels. Although, her bold characteristics seem to be tamed when in the presence of understanding children. In true kitty cat fashion, Aurora is endlessly curious. She loves nothing more than to follow her pert little nose and explore her surroundings, then claim the best perch for herself. What would make this beauty happiest, though, is a perch inside a home to call hers always.

After several years at the shelter, Aurora was taken into foster care for a break. She is much happier not being around other cats! Her foster mom has two small dogs, which Aurora doesn't seem to mind much at all. Aurora also doesn't mind being around a rowdy four-year-old boy. She does enjoy being pet a lot more now, but still on her own terms (she is the queen, after all).

This kitty is currently in foster care.

Applying to Adopt

Once you and your family have spent time with the cats in the adoption room and are ready to adopt,

please visit the adoption section of our website:

thecatcornerinc.com/adopt

Our adoption process page will provide you with all of the information you need to know about adopting through our organization, including what to expect, what information we will require from you, and finding your purrfect match.

Thank You For Choosing to Adopt!!

As a no-kill rescue, we can only bring in and save more cats and kittens in need as our current cats and kittens are adopted. This is why we say that when you adopt one cat or kitten you are actually saving TWO lives! One is the current cat or kitten that you are adopting, the second is the one that we now have room to save and place into our safe shelter.
